During the Quarantine imposed by the COVID-19 Pandemic, restricted to traveling like anyone else in the world, I sought inspiration within my own photographic archive. In it I came across images taken in 2019 in Capitol Reef National Park, Utah - USA. With these images I built an idyllic world of escape, a refugee, an imaginary shelter in the face of the threat of change in the way we lived, trying to portray a safe world yet to be discovered.

In our isolated routine, blurred by the feeling of a threatened future, building an otherworldly landscape from our dystopian real world was the way out to spend my creativity and protect our daily lives.

When turning to the utopian construction of a blue world, where blue, this healing color, could envelop us and heal our deep fears. Each image belongs to this construction, a Collection of images that seeks to shape a new world.
