REDEMOINHOS

The word "Redemoinhos" in Portuguese means "swirls" in English and refers to the rotating movement of water in a spiral turn.

Through its organic forms and bright natural colors, this constant and uninterrupted circular movement captured, forms this photograph that portrays a natural phenomenon, where the sucked water rebels in a conical whirlpool, pulling the delicate surface layer of the reflected sky into its cold depths.

On this journey, the light is swallowed, engulfed and deformed, painting its trail on the surface in an abstract circularity.

Macro Photograph taken from the surface of a river, with an IPhone 13 Pro Max in Macro RAW mode.
