UN RÊVE DE LÉGÈRETÉ

This Series is a reinterpretation of the LÉGÈRETÉ series, composed of images captured in France in 2019.

 

In this new approach, I used the UNREAL TRUTHS PROJECT parameters to interfere in the experimental captures made through a customized Pinhole Camera, which I built for another project in progress at the time.

 

Pointing this Camera Obscura at my computer screen, where the photographs of the LÉGÈRETÉ series were open, I was able to record with iPhone 13 Pro Max the distorted and inverted images that formed inside its box, retained on a sheet of a fixed tracing paper. After capturing these distortions in Macro mode, I could access the 2 versions of the each image in order to merge them, giving rise to this new work.
